A few messages from your peers
Best of luck to you all, it was a pleasure getting to know you guys 🙂
Congratulations to everyone for doing such an amazing job in your academic career and making it through these tough times across the finish line. I wish you all the best of luck with your future endeavors, and I know you can achieve whatever it is you set out to accomplish! I had an amazing time being a part of this graduation year! Thank you all!
Let’s save the world!
Congratulations HK! We made it! Grad class of 2021! First, I would to like thank those that were on this academic journey with me and those that were truly there for each other when things hit the fan. All the study sessions, the study groups, the tangents, the humour, the mistakes, the resolutions, and the shear grind was totally worth it in the end! I can’t thank those people enough who were truly there for me and I am extremely grateful for meeting some pretty awesome original people along the way! Second, I would like to wish everybody good luck in their future endeavours for further practice and education! You guys are going to do great out there! Third, it was a privilege to volunteer and learn so much from great people at UBCO. Thank you Tanya, Greg, Neil, Ali, Jeff, Kevin, Jon, and John for challenging my learning capabilities and equipping me with great bounds of knowledge. Have a great summer everybody! I’ll miss you all, until we meet again! 😀

Well, the only positive to covid was not having to walk all the way up to lab each week! A huge congratulations to all of the grads!!
A wise man once told me Be the reason someone smiles today. And the next day. And the day after that. Then you’ll notice how beautiful your life really is.
Never lose that hunger for knowledge
Looking back, I’ll miss the long nights of studying and stressing out about exams because they ended up being some of the best times of my life so far. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a UBCO alumni!
Good luck with all your future endeavors!
Congrats everyone, don’t do drugs.
Congratulations to my fellow 2021 graduates!!
Learned that the longest 2 minutes of your life is during a VO2max test, the liver is the most under-appreciated organ, it is possible to get to the Upper Campus Health Building from EME in 10 minutes flat and if you’re going to be late you better bring Greg a tall americano. I’d call that a successful education, congrats everyone!!
Hip hip hooray for the graduates!
Thank you UBC for the best 4.5 years! Congratulations to everyone!! 🙂
Things don’t grow unless you bless them with your patience.

Congratulations to all the grads on your well-deserved success! Despite how difficult this year has been – we did it!
First I want to thank my parents. They are the most important people in my life and they are part of the reason why I was able to succeed in my degree. Second, I want to thank my girlfriend, who is always there for me when I need her to be, she supported me and the choices I’ve made over these past 4 years and I couldn’t have done it without her. Finally I want to thank UBCO for providing such a welcoming, supported environment. I was able to collaborate online and offline with many kind of people and I can’t say enough about the tightly knit campus that is UBCO. It is a wonderful place to get an education.
Congratulations to all of the Human Kinetics 2021 graduates!! We made it! Let us all be proud that we got to this point in our lives, especially during a pandemic. Who would of thought we would be graduating university in the middle of a pandemic. Trust me, that is mind blowing. We have gone through so much and now we are all stronger because of it and now will be going into the world being able to conquer anything. I am very proud to be graduating from this amazing program at an amazing school with you awesome people. I look forward to keeping in touch with you all and hearing about how life is going. Huge thank you to all the professors for helping us all get to this point. For being such inspirations in our learning to be able to succeed not only in school but now in life. Once again, congratulations to all of the graduates!
This is the beginning of anything you want! Congratulations grads, I wish you all the best!

It was great getting a-LUNG with all of you. It was a long ride, but at least we can say we MARROWly escaped this last year together.
To my peers, profs and the rest of the faculty of health and exercise sciences: I cannot express how grateful I am to have been part of such an amazing program. I appreciate all that you’ve done for me throughout the years and am thankful for all of the friendships, experiences and knowledge. And to my fellow graduate Ava Haldane, I’ve had a crush on you since second year.
Congratulations to our 2021 Bachelor of Human Kinetics graduates.
